'The Dark Fish' poem by Anish Baskar

The Dark Fish

Faster and faster I stroke my fins,
Farther and further away from my kins.
The blues were dark as dark as shark,
Who gives us fright inspite of lark.
The system of solar is harder to clench,
Drench'd our lives in the Mariana Trench.
The sun was black and the trees were black,
Whole ball of wax was black, black, black.
No days, no nights always I strive to glance
For the beats of the tides, Aurora dance.
Years after years I yearn to reach,
The surface of sea surfaced bleach.
I saw her, the sun, the scenic beauty,
Befell before me, the antiquity.
I saw her, to quench the years of desires,
Yet she fell to strain her eyes,
To light me bright, but reminded me
Fishes breathe down the sea.
Slower and slower I lost my tune,
Deeper and deeper I go down soon.

  2. I think that the concept of this poem is about a Wild Goose chase. Nice try. Keep it up👍👌😃
