'An Apology to Forebearer' poem by A.Anish
An Apology to Forebearer
Life not abide with me, when
Time pace towards senility.
Apollo nor Adonis bivouac in me,
Like my asset, my consort.
Insanity ousts maturity, languor
Evicts my lucidity.
Howbeit life lapsed sum, Pith
Is a fool’s paradise, that
Yearns for thee.
I, the disciple of diligence,
The heir of antique, accomplished
The endless toils of life. But
Obscur’d the legacy of life.
Ran behind the Venus, which
Faded thy memories.
Thou treasur’d my childhood, and
Cherish’d my adolescence,
With love, care and condolence.
Everything depleted as my ardor, when
Thou thirst'd for benevolence
Of my career, fooled
Around by deceivers and betrayers,
Inquired me to worship thy urge.
Life matured as a free will,
Steering souped up, bequeath
Thou pride and guilt.
Thy stigma downcast my zeal,
And desolated me from
Thy palms of love.
Thy memories by the virtue
From the past, dramatize
My insight to woe for deeds.
Thou held my hands, and
Cover’d my toils.
Lullabied me in bed of roses,
Despite thy affliction and senility,
Thou cast my life,
With bliss and solace.
Thy part bruised my bosom, like
Fractured wings of fowl.
Tears mourns one by one, for
Sins that I ever made, by
Obliterating the honour bounds and
Ward off thou forth.
Dragg'd me down in a blue funk,
When fate rapped knuckles.
Soul scout for submission
Under the feet of Father,
To defer my deeds, and
Rebound my charm.
Time treated all the griefs,
By the virtue of deity.
Bosom craves to melt with thee.
